Thrivous designed Clarity for daily use to improve focus, memory, and mood, and to support long-term brain function. Our formula is guided by science, which enables us to identify nootropic ingredients with the greatest potential to promote mental performance beyond what can be achieved through traditional lifestyle choices alone.
Guided by Science
Clarity contains ingredients at concentrations and amounts based on high levels of evidence for notable effect from peer-reviewed, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies on humans.
We make Clarity from substances in the human diet, including minerals, herbs, and amino acids. We do not use substances derived from animals. All ingredients and capsules are vegan.
Bacopa Monnieri is a perennial creeping herb native to wetlands worldwide. Supplementation may improve memory within 2 to 3 months.
Ginkgo Biloba is an ancient tree with fossils dating back 270 million years. Supplementation may support long-term brain function.
Panax Ginseng is a slow-growing perennial plant native to North America and eastern Asia. Supplementation may improve focus.
L-Theanine is an amino acid found in plant and fungal species. Supplementation may promote relaxation without sedation.
Rhodiola is a perennial flowering plant that grows on sea cliffs and mountains. Supplementation may improve focus and mood.
Zinc is an essential dietary mineral found in food like beans, nuts, and whole grains. Supplementation may improve mood.
Although many vendors hide their product formulas and ingredient test results, Thrivous does not. Clarity has an open formula with ingredient dosages clearly indicated on its label. Thrivous also publishes a certificate of analysis and quality for Clarity, sharing all test results from our suppliers and manufacturers.
Our suppliers subject each ingredient to stringent quality testing, including identity, potency, microbial, heavy metals, and other testing as appropriate prior to release for manufacturing.
Our manufacturers follow strict GMP regulation from the FDA in audited and certified facilities. They monitor production and test finished product to ensure quality prior to release for shipping.
Customer Questions & Answers
What effects should I expect from Clarity?
Thrivous designed Clarity to improve focus, memory, and mood, and to support long-term brain function. For most people, the effects will become notable but not strong — neither distracting nor overwhelming. We selected each ingredient of Clarity for its nootropic effect based on multiple peer-reviewed, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies on humans. Bacopa may increase memory. Ginkgo may support long-term brain function. Ginseng may improve focus. Rhodiola may improve focus and mood. Theanine may promote relaxation without sedation. And Zinc may improve mood.
How often should I use Clarity?
Thrivous formulated Clarity for consistent daily use — chronic supplementation. Unless otherwise indicated by your physician, we recommend that you take one serving of two (2) capsules daily with a meal, preferably in the morning. To help with consistency and to save money, consider our convenient subscription option.
How soon should I notice the effects of Clarity?
You may notice some improvement to focus and mood within hours, and more improvement within a few weeks of daily supplementation. Improved memory may require two to three months of daily supplementation. Support for long-term brain function may require regular supplementation for years.
How much Clarity is in each bottle?
Each bottle contains a 30-day supply of Clarity, if taken as directed. Each bottle contains sixty capsules, which is thirty servings of two capsules daily. Improved focus and mood may begin during daily supplementation of the supply in your first bottle. Improved memory may begin during daily supplementation of the supply in your second or third bottle.
Is Clarity safe?
Yes. Clarity is safe for most people, if taken as directed. All of its ingredients come from substances in the human diet. People worldwide have used these substances for centuries to support brain function and promote mental performance. In the United States, all of Clarity's ingredients are legal, and the FDA accepts them as dietary supplement components under provisions of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. Please consult a physician before and during use of dietary supplements.
Is Clarity a stimulant?
Clarity is not a strong stimulant. Although some of its ingredients may provide subtle stimulation, don't expect strong stimulation when using Clarity on its own. We developed Clarity to complement stimulants like Caffeine when you need them. However, we recommend that you use stimulants sparingly, and not as a daily supplement, so as to avoid developing a tolerance and losing the potential benefits of targeted use.
Is Clarity addictive?
No. Clarity is not addictive. We know of no studies associated with ingredients in Clarity that have noted dependencies among their results. We developed Clarity to complement the health benefits of fasting. It should not be difficult to abstain from using Clarity when desired.
Does Clarity have adverse effects?
Clarity is safe. However, a small number of people may experience adverse effects such as allergic skin reaction, constipation, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, insomnia, nausea, palpitations, stomachache, or thirst. Because Clarity contains Ginkgo, which may promote bleeding during surgery, stop using Clarity one to two weeks before any surgery. If you experience any pain or discomfort while using Clarity, stop immediately and consult your physician.
Does Clarity interact with drugs?
Clarity may interact with some drugs. There are varying levels of evidence for varying magnitudes of interaction (positive or negative) between ingredients in Clarity and drugs such as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, alprazolam, amiloride, anticholinergics, anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, antidepressants, antidiabetics, antihypertensives, antiplatelets, atorvastatin, buspirone, cholinergics, cisplatin, cytochrome P450 substrates, efavirenz, escitalopram, estrogens, fexofenadine, fluoxetine, furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, ibuprofen, imatinib, immunosuppressants, insulin, midazolam, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, nifedipine, omeprazole, p-glycoprotein substrates, penicillamine, QT interval-prolonging, quinolone antibiotics, raltegravir, risperidone, seizure threshold lowering, simvastatin, stimulants, talinolol, tetracycline antibiotics, thyroid hormones, trazodone, and warfarin. If I use Clarity, may I also use other Thrivous products?
Yes. We designed Clarity to complement other Thrivous products. For example, use Clarity in the morning, Serenity in the evening, and occasionally Surge during the day (optionally in the morning with Clarity) when you need extra energy and focus. Do not take Clarity at the same time of day that you take Serenity.
May I take more than one serving of Clarity per day?
We recommend that you take one serving of two (2) capsules daily with a meal, preferably in the morning. Some people may benefit from higher doses per day of some ingredients in Clarity, such as Ginkgo, Theanine, and Zinc. We don't know of any studies that support benefit from higher doses per day of Bacopa, Ginseng, or Rhodiola. However, we also don't know of any reason that Clarity would be dangerous at two servings per day. Because anything consumed to excess may become dangerous, caution is warranted. If you'd like to take more than one serving of Clarity per day, please consult your physician.
May women who are pregnant or nursing use Clarity?
We do not recommend Clarity for women who are pregnant or nursing. So far as we know, few studies of Clarity's ingredients have included them.
