The study also observed that physiological markers like heart rate and lactate concentration did not significantly differ between supplement and placebo stages, indicating that the performance boost wasn't due to changes in these particular physiological parameters. The effects of the supplement appeared more directly related to endurance and performance rather than basic physiological responses.
